Catholic Media Journal is a project of the Communication Arts Department at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio USA. It began in October, 2005, as an online diary for a group of Catholic journalists experiencing and reporting on the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi and Louisiana.
The Journal was reactivated in January, 2008, with a mission to share about communication within and about the Catholic Church.
