Janet,

Thank you for sharing this news about Caroline. Whether we knew her or not, her spirit was certainly present in her voice and her writing. I'm glad we were able to share this Catholic Underground podcast, and am praying for the repose of Caroline's soul and for the Lord's peace to all of her family and friends.

Her obituary and details of her funeral are <a href="http://www.snyderfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/obit_view.phtml?id=8745" rel="nofollow">online here</a>.

God bless you,
Jim Coyle

Dear Catholic Underground, Was just listening to Episode#56 with Caroline Schermerhorn. Caroline passed away on Friday, September 11th after a long battle with cancer. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. Caroline is a friend and such an amazing person. I have only known her for 3 years but her love and faith have changed me and our family forever. It was nice to hear her voice this morning on that podcast. Many Blessings, Janet Schmittgen
